Hockey Canada and the Ottawa District Minor Hockey Association

CIH Academy teams play full schedules at the "AAA" and "AA" levels of the Ottawa District Minor Hockey Association (ODMHA), benefitting from some of the best competition available in Canada. The Ottawa region is renowned for its depth of hockey and its wide range of players and teams; students at CIH Academy play in this hockey-minded environment while experiencing all the advantages of our hockey prep school program.

The ODMHA is a member of Hockey Canada, the governing body of amateur hockey in Canada, through its relationship with the Ottawa District Hockey Association (ODHA).

The ODMHA mission is to "promote and foster minor hockey through fair play and maintain and increase interest in the game of hockey by ensuring that all organized minor hockey is developed within the Branch in accordance to prescribed standards."

Stretching from Brockville to Hawkesbury and from Cornwall to Ottawa, the ODMHA's 10 districts encompass more than 28 000 participants.

CIH Academy is proud of its designation as Hockey Canada's Eastern Ontario training centre, and accordingly, CIH Academy has a 10-year memorandum of understanding with Hockey Canada. Our campus is the home to yearly National Training Camps for any of Hockey Canada's national teams (Team Canada) including the national sledge hockey team.
